Acadie

The name Acadie has a story of its own—one theory traces it to a Mi’kmaq word meaning “fertile land,” a fitting connection for a flower that comes to life in the spring. Named for Canada’s historic Acadian region, this tulip brings a little Maritime history into the garden. 

More details:

• Each package of bulbs contains bonemeal fertilizer.
• Bulbs should be planted not much earlier than the Thanksgiving weekend and can be planted until the ground is frozen, which usually isn't until December.
  

When your bulbs will be available:

• Free local delivery is available for locations within approximately 30 minutes of our farm. Deliveries will occur in early October.
• Orders can be picked up at the farm between October 8-10.
• Shipping across Canada will occur in Early October.
