Astronaut Andre Kuipers

A tulip with an out-of-this-world story! Named for Dutch astronaut André Kuipers, this glowing orange-pink tulip was officially named for him in 2013—and Kuipers himself performed the ceremonial christening. With its warm, shifting shades of apricot, orange and rose, it’s a little piece of Dutch space history for your garden. 

More details:

• Each package of bulbs contains bonemeal fertilizer.
• Bulbs should be planted not much earlier than the Thanksgiving weekend and can be planted until the ground is frozen, which usually isn't until December.
  

When your bulbs will be available:

• Free local delivery is available for locations within approximately 30 minutes of our farm. Deliveries will occur in early October.
• Orders can be picked up at the farm between October 8-10.
• Shipping across Canada will occur in Early October.
